This method uses an inkjet or laser full color printer to print out the design to be printed on transfer papers, then it is then transferred on to the fabric. Aside from that, it is known to produce durable prints that will last long and won’t easily fade.If you want to do this, you need a heat transfer machine, a transfer paper, a color printer, a t-shirt, and a design. Transfer papers for t-shirts come in two main types. The first is especially designed for fabrics with light colors and the second for fabrics with dark colors. This is because if you need to print white or other light colors on darker garments, the color of the dark garment will make color blending difficult. This is actually one of the disadvantages of using the digital t-shirt printing method because there’s no such thing as white ink. Hence came the use of a special type of transfer paper. It is best to get commercial grade transfer papers if you want to print t-shirts since some of the ordinary transfer papers are not really that good in quality.But in order to get the full hang of digital t-shirt printing, you also have to be prepared for some limitations you might be faced with.
For example, digital t-shirt printing is great for printing a single design on a single shirt, or perhaps a couple. All you have to do is print the image on a transfer paper as many times as the number of shirts you need. So for smaller number of custom t-shirts, this is really the easiest method to use. In larger quantity projects, however, the cost of the inkjet or laser printer consumables and the transfer paper for every single printout can be rather huge.
Digital printing is also ideal for printing designs in full color. Since you will be using an inkjet or laser printer, you can use any color you want, and that exact design will come out on the t-shirt. Digital printing will allow color blending and gradients. Other methods may not afford you the same creative freedom.
All in all, digital custom t-shirt printing is a profitable trade. This is very easy to do and allows you enough creative flexibility to come up with as many unique shirts as you want. Make sure to take care of your custom t-shirts. The best way to wash it is inside out, with the use of cold water and detergent. It is also better to let them dry naturally than to put them in the dryer, which can do damage to the print. And with proper care, your digitally printed custom t-shirts will maintain its color and original good-as-new print quality for a long time, so you can use it to make your personal style statement for years.

“If it is to be, it is up to me.” To many, this may be just a simple saying, but it has become the motto for the Bass family. It has driven us for the past 49 years to stay connected. What was once just a Saturday afternoon picnic has evolved into a four-day, three-night weekend solely dedicated to family.
The first Bass Family Reunion was held in July 1962 in Chicago, IL. Though the first reunion consisted of a single family gathering of 73 people, we now span 7 generations and number over 300 members, from infants to our 91-year-old matriarch and patriarch.
While originating in Chicago for many years, the reunion has been hosted in many other cities such as Atlanta, Cleveland (MS), Detroit, and Memphis, to name a few. Every year, our families travel from all over the USA and international countries to share family history/stories, laugh, and just enjoy the familial bond.
Our family reunion has become an annual tradition that is always held during the third weekend in July. No one dare plan anything else! Festivities commence in the host city on Thursday with registration and typically a fish fry. Friday is reserved for sightseeing and ends with a banquet that celebrates our accomplishments. Saturday, the most important day, is picnic day, which includes games, good food, and family lineage workshops. Saturday night is spent hanging out with family. We end our weekend with a lively church service on Sunday morning.

Our annual reunion has become more than just food and games. Approximately 10 years ago, a family song, “We Are the Basses,” was written to the tune of “We Are the World.” We developed our own version of Bingo, called “A BASS” that teaches us our ancestry. In 2002, the Bass Family Reunion became a 501©(3) nonprofit organization. In 2012, the organization will sponsor educational scholarships for our members and the community. We are reaching beyond the boundaries of family.
Family members continue to stay connected through the year with the family directory and quarterly newsletter. Also on Facebook and family website, members can chat, exchange pictures and share current events.
